Scooby and Shaggy!! Well, Shaggy still needs hair and a face but they are looking pretty good! Next come pumpkins, spiders, webs, and a super scary monster.

Sorry for the long delay. We were a little busy with life in general. Here is the finished product of my first cake order:
I think it turned out pretty good! What do you think?

Today was the last class of my second series of cake decorating classes. We had to do a final cake and incorporate all the flowers we had made over the previous weeks.
What do you think?
I"m excited about it. And hubby is excited to eat it! Chocolate with raspberry filling. Yum!!

Get Out of the Boat

Lately I've been feeling like I need to be spending more time in devotions. Studying God's word. It's been weighing heavily on me. And as coffee break just started for the year I'm so excited to begin an in depth look at the book of Daniel with a group of ladies from my church.

And, as J was fussy this evening, we went for a walk and ended up in the Christian book store down the road. I happened across this little book: "If You Want to Walk on Water, You've Got to Get Out of the Boat" by John Ortberg. I've heard of this one before so I'm quite excited to see what it has to say. There is this feeling in me that it will speak loudly. What is really crazy is that it is based on the story of Peter walking on the water towards Jesus. Not an hour before buying the book I was reading this story to J from the children's Bible. Wow!!
